There is something undeniably attractive about the thought of a new plan. It’s almost like new love! It's all bright and life-giving. It allows us freedom to focus on the future. It's freeing. But also like new love, lurking close is the thought that it might not work out. We all know the New Year resolution statistics.
I’ve got a yoga take on this for you. Maybe it doesn’t matter one way or the other!
Trying something new - whether for a month, a week or a day - grows our brain. A new pathway is literally created in our brain when we try out that new plan, even once.
So let go of any new plan reluctance. Either way - no matter what - you win!
